Make this mixture and simply toss it into an avocado for a quick guacamole. The dry spice mix will keep for up to a month, and it's great for more than just guacamole: try sprinkling it on scrambled eggs, meat, vegetables, or even garnishing the rim of a margarita glass.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Combine dried cilantro, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, cumin, and 1 tablespoon salt in a small bowl, distributing the ingredients evenly. Add this mixture to a larger bowl along with the lime zest and juice (and 6 avocados) just before making the guacamole.
Storage
The spice mixture, without the lime zest and juice, can be stored in a tightly sealed container at room temperature for up to 1 month. You can double the amount of ingredients if needed. Add the lime zest and juice just before using.
