This version of guacamole is made with papaya chunks, which infuse the appetizer with their sweet flavor and pair perfectly with the fiery habanero pepper puree and cilantro. The flavor is balanced, just the right amount of heat, and will please any savory appetizer lover. Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a bowl, combine 1 finely chopped papaya and the juice of 1 lime. Using a large knife, finely chop 1/2 of a seeded habanero pepper with 1/2 teaspoon of coarse salt until a paste forms, then add 1/2 cup of cilantro and chop.
- Add the chili mixture to the bowl with the papaya, along with two diced avocados and half a diced red onion; stir to evenly distribute the ingredients and season with salt.
