Give Mexican guacamole an Asian twist. Mashed avocado is mixed with wasabi powder, pickled ginger, lime juice, jalapeño pepper, and herbs. This savory appetizer is perfect for a house party, served with alcoholic drinks and crackers for dipping.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 3 avocados
  • 1 finely chopped jalapeño
  • Wasabi, rice crackers for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Mix 1 teaspoon each of wasabi powder and water; set aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Halve 3 avocados and remove the pits; scoop the flesh into a large bowl and mash with a fork.

    Add the juice of 2 limes, 2 tablespoons chopped pickled ginger and 1 tablespoon ginger brine, 1 finely chopped jalapeño (seeds removed), 3 thinly sliced ​​green onions, 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro and 1 teaspoon coarse salt.

  3. Add the wasabi mixture and stir. Season with salt to taste. Serve with rice crackers.
