Jerk seasoning - detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 tbsp allspice
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. rapeseed oil or any vegetable oil

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a medium bowl, combine all the ground seasonings with 2 tablespoons of canola oil. The seasoning pairs well with the eggplant, corn, and potatoes, and rubbing it onto the chicken will create a crispy, flavorful crust.
