Spinach, Avocado, and Pumpkin Seed Salad - A Detailed Recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 10 cups spinach leaves, washed and ready to eat
  • 1/2 cup green pumpkin seeds
  • 2 avocados
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1 lime, zest and juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Place spinach leaves and pumpkin seeds in a large salad bowl.

    Cut the avocado and then remove the pit. Chop the flesh and place it on top of the pumpkin leaves and seeds.
  • Step 2
  • Combine olive oil, lime juice, and zest in a small bowl. Add salt and stir until smooth.

    Pour the dressing over the salad and then gently toss everything together with your hands. Be careful not to turn the avocado chunks into mush while tossing.

    The salad can be served on toast, spread with avocado spread and sprinkled with leafy greens - avocado salad recipe.
