Avocado, Watercress and Orange Salad - A Detailed Recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 bunches watercress
  • 2 avocado, cut into slices
  • 2 oranges, peeled and core removed
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 3 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • Chopped roasted hazelnuts

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Cover the red onion with cold water and let it sit for 10 minutes. In a separate bowl, combine the orange and lime juice, honey, mustard, olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste.
  2. Remove the onion from the water and place it in a salad bowl. Add the watercress, avocado, oranges, salad dressing and mix.

    Sprinkle the salad with hazelnuts.
