Salad

  • 2 heads iceberg lettuce, cut into wedges
  • 450 g ham, sliced ​​0.5 cm thick and then cut into 0.5 cm cubes.
  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, halved
  • 2 cups grated cheddar
  • 2 cups grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 2 avocados, peeled and diced, sprinkled with 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 cup thawed edamame beans
  • Half a greenhouse cucumber, cut into 2 cm thick circles, then into quarters
  • Sprigs of parsley
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced

  • 1/3 cup chili sauce (such as Heinz)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp. pickled cucumber caviar (vegetable relish)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 0.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place the lettuce wedges on a ceramic baking sheet, top with the ham, eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocado, cheddar, red and green onions, and edamame. Drizzle the salad with a little dressing. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve with the remaining Thousand Island dressing.
