This salad is made with multigrain spaghetti, which is boiled and mixed with thin strips of bell pepper, romaine lettuce, ham, and cheddar. This makes your salad not only healthy but also very filling and delicious. A yogurt dressing with red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, and chopped fresh herbs adds a special flavor. This salad is a hit with both adults and children.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 340 g multigrain spaghetti
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons plain low-fat yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 60 g thin slices of ham, cut into strips
  • 60 g cheddar, cut into strips
  • Half a small head of romaine lettuce, thinly sliced

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package directions. Drain and rinse the pasta under cold water to cool completely.
  2. In a large bowl, combine vinegar, yogurt, mustard, green onions, dill, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and black pepper to taste. Drizzle with olive oil and whisk thoroughly. Add spaghetti, bell peppers, ham, cheese, and romaine lettuce; toss to combine.
