Creamy avocado dip

How to Make Creamy Avocado Dip
Time: 5 min.
Complexity: easily
Quantity: 1 tbsp.

This smooth sour cream and avocado dip is a creamier cousin of Mexican guacamole. Parmesan may seem unnecessary, but it's a great substitute for the hard-to-find Mexican cheese, making it a go-to ingredient. Serve this dip as an appetizer with tortilla chips or vegetables. It also makes a wonderful accompaniment to grilled chicken or steak.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado, halved, peeled and cut into large chunks
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 3 tbsp. l. grated parmesan
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.
