Baked champignons are quick, tasty, and convenient. Mushrooms, halved or quartered if large, are mixed with vegetable oil and garlic and baked until golden brown. Their flavor becomes richer and deeper in the oven than in a frying pan. Baked champignons can be served as a vegetarian main dish or as a side dish with meat. Use them as an appetizer or in other dishes, such as pasta, pizza, or omelets. Or eat them straight from the pan—they're delicious!
