Instant noodles can be used to make a simple pancake, making a unique side dish for main courses or as a substitute for bread. Simply fry the boiled noodles on both sides, without stirring, in a pan until they form a thick, golden-brown pancake. Serve sprinkled with fresh herbs or any toppings of your choice.

Recipe:


Soak three packages of instant noodles (85g each) in hot water for 5 minutes. Drain and pat dry. Toss with 1 tablespoon sesame oil and 1 teaspoon salt. Heat 3 tablespoons peanut oil in a nonstick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the noodles to the pan and cook for 6-8 minutes per side. Transfer to paper towels to drain. Garnish with green onions and/or cilantro.
