This American snack, although called a pie, is actually chips topped with seasoned ground meat, vegetables, cheese, and sauce. It's practically a complete meal! Served right in the bag, it's a great way to avoid dirty dishes and is also perfect for fun get-togethers with friends. This recipe uses pita chips. Open the bags and spoon in all the toppings. Drizzle with sauce and enjoy!



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 450 g ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 cucumber
  • 0.5 cup hummus
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Score the front of 6 bags of pita chips, then toast 1 pound of ground beef or turkey, season with salt, pepper, and dried oregano.
  2. Place the meat on top of the chips. Top with sliced ​​cucumber, halved cherry tomatoes, and Kalamata olives, and sprinkle with crumbled feta. Mix 0.5 cups hummus with 1/4 cup plain yogurt and 2 tablespoons water and drizzle the contents of the packets.
