This pasta salad uses shredded store-bought rotisserie chicken. Its savory meat imparts a rich flavor that's perfectly complemented by a dressing of mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, and pickle relish. Serve chilled. It's perfect as a picnic appetizer or a side dish for grilled meats.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 220 g of pasta
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable caviar (sweet pickled relish)
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 2 cups diced grilled chicken
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • Half a red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Bring a medium saucepan of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions. Drain and rinse the pasta under cold water; shake off any excess water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, barbecue sauce, relish, mustard, and sugar. Add the pasta, chicken, red pepper, celery, red onion, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste and toss. Chill the salad before serving.
