1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.

1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp. ketchup

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a small, heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring constantly, for 8 minutes, until golden brown.
  2. Then add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer over low heat, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens slightly, about 40 minutes.

  3. Allow the finished sauce to cool completely. Store the barbecue sauce in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
    Exit: 2 tbsp.

Brush the sauce over the meat while frying, 10 minutes before it's done.
