How to Make Sweet and Sour BBQ Sauce
Go back Print version

Time: 15 min.

This simple barbecue sauce is made without added sugar or vinegar, but the combination of ketchup, hoisin sauce, and dry sherry gives it a pleasant sweet and sour flavor characteristic of Asian cuisine. A touch of chili garlic sauce and ginger add a piquant kick. All ingredients are heated in a pan with fried garlic and ginger, and the sauce is ready. Try it with spare ribs or fried chicken.
