Alabama barbecue sauce is unlike any other barbecue sauce you've ever tried. First, it's white, not red, and made with mayonnaise rather than tomato or fruit. The sauce is creamy, tart, peppery, and slightly sweet, with a rich flavor that pairs perfectly with most grilled dishes, but especially chicken, turkey, pork, and fish. Like red sauce, white sauce can be used for marinating, basting, or serving.
