White barbecue sauce is a signature sauce of the state of Alabama. It's made with mayonnaise and, unlike tomato barbecue sauce, whips up quickly and doesn't require cooking. While not as sweet, the white sauce is still packed with a ton of flavor thanks to its spicy mustard, black pepper, horseradish, and apple cider vinegar. It's typically served with chicken or pork, but also goes well with French fries or fresh vegetables.
