The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.

1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.

1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 can (560 g) of canned lychees in syrup
  • 2.5 cups Lille (orange wine), chilled
  • 2 teaspoons rose water
  • 1 tsp bitters (preferably Peychaud's)
  • Orange peel twist or orange slices

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Blend half the lychee and all the syrup in a blender until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing down to extract as much juice as possible into a clean pitcher; discard any stringy residue.
  2. Add Lillet, rose water, and bitters. Refrigerate to chill, if desired. Pour into chilled champagne, martini, or juice glasses and garnish with an orange twist or slice.
