An incredibly simple way to make sun-dried tomatoes at home in the oven. Sliced plum tomatoes are dried in a warm oven for several hours, resulting in a delicious flavor. With this recipe, you can avoid spending money on store-bought sun-dried tomatoes, especially if summer is in full swing.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Halve 1 kg of plum tomatoes lengthwise. Place cut-side up on a baking sheet, season with salt, and let stand for 20 minutes.
- Bake in the oven at 120°C (250°F) until the tomatoes are slightly dry but still juicy, about 4 hours. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with thyme. If making a day ahead, refrigerate. Bring to room temperature before serving.
