Transform simple sugar cookies into a dessert both adults and children will love. Bake round cookies using your favorite recipe, and once they're completely cool, sandwich two together with jam or thick cream to make sandwiches.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

- A pinch of salt
- 220 g butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Mix the dough for classic sugar cookies; refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Roll the dough out to a thickness of 0.5 cm and cut into 5 cm circles. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, then bake for 8-10 minutes at 175°C. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes, then place them on a wire rack to cool completely. Stack two cookies together and spread with jam or cream.

In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Beat the butter and sugar with a mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract. Then reduce the mixer speed to low and add the flour mixture.
