Chilled chicken sausages have a smooth texture. Sliced ​​into thin strips, they curl up and resemble worms when fried. Perfect for a Halloween breakfast! A light glaze of butter, vinegar, and sugar adds extra flavor and a pleasant caramelization.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 tbsp + 1 tsp unsalted butter
  • 9 chilled chicken sausages (from two 200g packages), cut lengthwise into quarters
  • 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp light brown sugar

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a large nonstick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the sausage pieces in a single layer and cook, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned and beginning to curl, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the apple cider vinegar and brown sugar. Add to the skillet along with the remaining 1 teaspoon of butter. Cook, stirring, until the brown sugar caramelizes on the sausages and the vinegar and butter form a light glaze, another 2–3 minutes.

  3. Place on a serving platter and serve warm.
