Brownies are one of the most iconic American chocolate desserts. They're made in virtually every home and cafe. The secret to their popularity lies in their simplicity and unique texture. They're no longer just chocolate biscuits, but a dense and moist quintessence of chocolate flavor. You can endlessly experiment with this recipe by adding different types of chocolate, nuts, or icing.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 300 g dark or milk chocolate, cut into pieces
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 0.5 cups premium flour
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 90 g white chocolate chips or drops
  • 90 g milk chocolate chips

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 160°C, grease a 20cm springform pan with butter and line with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate in a double boiler, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar and vanilla. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Stir in the flour and salt. Stir in the white and milk chocolate chips.

  3. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
