Lovers of chocolate bars and deep-fried fast food can combine their two passions. As unusual as this combination may seem, it works. The dish is believed to have originated in Scotland in the mid-1990s. This recipe has spawned many similar ones, all of which feature deep-fried chocolate bars popular in various countries. The salty crust cuts through the sweetness of the Mars bar, which only helps its flavor blossom. It's best to freeze the bars before frying.
