Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Line a 22x32cm glass baking dish with parchment paper, letting it hang over the sides. Set aside.
  2. In a medium glass bowl, combine the peanut butter, honey, and chocolate milk and place over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir until the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and set aside.

  3. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, flax seeds, protein powder, dried cherries, and half of the chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the peanut butter mixture into the oat mixture and stir until smooth. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and spread into an even layer. Sprinkle with the remaining chocolate, pressing it lightly into the base, and freeze for 15 minutes to set the mixture.
  5. Remove from the pan and cut into 24 bars. Transfer to a container, seal tightly, and freeze. When ready to serve, remove the bars from the freezer and let them rest on the counter for 2-3 minutes.
