Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Position a rack on the middle shelf of the oven. Preheat the oven to 175°C.

Spray a 7.5 x 11-inch nonstick baking pan with cooking spray. Line the pan with a 6 x 18-inch sheet of parchment paper, allowing any excess paper to hang over the sides. Lightly spray the parchment paper with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat the egg whites with a hand mixer until foamy. Add the peanut butter, brown sugar, and honey. Add the melted butter, oats, and almonds. Stir to distribute evenly, then fold in the chocolate chips.

Roasted almondsSpread it in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in an oven preheated to 175°C for about 8-10 minutes.

  3. Using a silicone spatula, spoon the mixture into the prepared pan, pressing gently to form an even layer. Bake until the edges begin to brown, about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 1 hour. Cut into 4-cm squares and serve.
