Don't have a fondue set? No problem! Katie Lee shared a recipe for chocolate fondue with peanut butter that you can make on the stovetop. Even beginners can make it. Just make it just before serving and serve immediately. The chocolate sauce is velvety and rich, with wonderful, slightly salty notes from the peanut butter. It's delicious and easy to make. To serve, prepare salted straws, bananas, strawberries, dark chocolate, marshmallows, or other snacks of your choice. Perfect for a romantic evening or a bachelorette party.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 cups heavy cream + 0.5 cup as needed
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1.5 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 tbsp. semi-sweet chocolate granules
  • For serving: salted straws, bananas, strawberries, dark chocolate, marshmallows

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cream and sugar and heat over low heat. When the cream is hot (do not bring to a boil), add the peanut butter and gently stir until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in the chocolate until completely melted.
  2. Serve immediately with any dipping accompaniments, such as pretzels, bananas, strawberries, dark chocolate, or marshmallows. If the fondue is separating, try stirring in a couple of tablespoons of cold heavy cream.
