How to Make Chocolate Fondue in a Slow Cooker
Go back Print version

Time: 35 min.
Complexity: easily
Servings: 6 - 8

When you hear the phrase "chocolate fondue," you immediately imagine a luxurious dessert for a romantic evening, complex to make, and perfect for Instagram. But in reality, it's one of the simplest desserts you can treat yourself and your loved ones to every day, even if you don't have a special fondue set. It can be made in a slow cooker! Simply combine all the chocolate fondue ingredients and heat. If desired, you can splash a little bourbon or liqueur into the chocolate sauce. The sauce is thinner than usual, and it won't set quickly if you serve it in regular bowls. Use a fork to prick fruit or cake pieces and dip them into the sauce.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.

1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.
