Chocolate fondue is a unique dessert to celebrate the end of the work week. Not only will you enjoy the incredible taste, but you'll also have fun with your loved ones, dipping various treats into a bowl of chocolate. And it takes no more than 15 minutes to prepare—perfect for while your guests are finishing their main course. Make the chocolate sauce, adding rum, orange zest, and cinnamon for a richer flavor and aroma, and a spoonful of butter to keep the chocolate soft. Arrange the fruit and snacks for dipping around the bowl, along with wooden skewers or skewers, and serve!



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Fondue

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, washed, dried and hulled
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 2 bananas, peeled and cut into 5-6 cm long slices.
  • 350 grams thick, salty pretzels
  • 120 g dried apricots
  • 180 g roasted salted almonds

Rich chocolate dipping sauce

  • 0.5 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp (15 g) butter
  • 120 g dark chocolate
  • 2 tsp dark rum
  • 1/8 tsp. grated orange zest

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

    Rich chocolate dipping sauce


    In a medium saucepan, bring the cream, sugar, cinnamon, and butter to a simmer over low heat. Remove from the heat, add the chocolate, and stir until melted. Before serving, stir in the rum and orange zest.
