What could be better than a spontaneous dessert that's quick and easy to make with simple ingredients, no need to preheat the oven?! These cookies are made with rolled oats. Simply stir them into a mixture of milk, creamy peanut butter, and cocoa powder, adding a little vanilla, sugar, and coarse salt. Mound them on a baking sheet and let them set. The active part takes just minutes. The hardest part is waiting for these delicious cookies to set and not eating them too early! These cookies can be stored in a tightly sealed container for several days.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 3 cups of oatmeal
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 0.5 cups of milk
  • 110 g unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • A large pinch of coarse salt

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Line a baking sheet with waxed paper or parchment.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa powder and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add the oats, peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt; stir.

  3. Spoon 1 teaspoon of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and let sit at room temperature until set, about 30 minutes. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days..
