The cocktail's flavor is moderately sweet and spicy. The heat of the peppers in their own juice, the chipotle in adobo sauce, and subtle notes of smoked jalapeño, cinnamon, and cumin are evident. After a shot of this cocktail, lying in a hammock, you can feel the refreshing cool breeze on your heated skin, and just smile, because there's no need to rush anymore.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 40 ml tequila (desirable: Reposado tequila with 100% blue agave juice
  • 15 ml. of quality orange liqueur (desirable: "Cointreau")
  • 20 ml simple syrup (preparation: Heat equal parts sugar and water until dissolved, cool)
  • 2 thick orange slices, plus extra for garnish
  • Ice
  • 1/8 tsp. canned chipotle marinade
  • 30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a cocktail shaker, shake the orange slices with ice, chipotle marinade, and lime juice. Add more ice.
  2. Pour in tequila, orange liqueur, and simple syrup. Shake and strain into a glass filled with ice, garnished with an orange wheel. Serve with fresh seafood.
