This easy-to-make cocktail will delight you with its surprising flavor and unexpected heat from the jalapeño pepper. To tone down the heat, you can remove the seeds. Another unconventional ingredient for a Margarita is celery leaves. In this drink, they provide a pleasant cooling contrast.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 170 ml freshly squeezed lime juice + 1 lime wedge for garnishing glasses
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • A handful of celery leaves
  • 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
  • 450 ml of tequila
  • 220 ml orange liqueur
  • Coarse salt for garnishing glasses

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine lime juice, powdered sugar, celery leaves, and jalapeño in a blender. Blend until smooth. Combine with tequila and orange liqueur in a pitcher and refrigerate until completely chilled, at least 2 hours.
  2. Before serving, sprinkle a small amount of coarse salt on a small plate. Wet the rims of 8 cocktail glasses with a lime wedge and dip the rims in the salt. Add ice to the glasses and pour the cocktail.
