S'mores, or s'mores in English, are short for "some more." This traditional dessert, typically eaten around a campfire at children's camps, is popular in the United States and Canada. It consists of marshmallows and chocolate toasted over a campfire, layered between two graham crackers. S'mores are traditionally baked over a campfire, but they can also be made at home in the oven or microwave. This recipe deviates from the traditional method of making s'mores—the ingredients are layered and baked into one large bar, which is then cut into squares. Furthermore, in addition to the traditional marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers, these cakes also use peanuts, peanut butter, and condensed milk.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Center the oven rack and preheat to 180°C (350°F). Line a 22 x 33 cm (9 x 13 in) ovenproof dish with foil, allowing 5 cm (2 in) of foil to overhang both sides. Grease the foil with butter.
- In a food processor, pulse 14 graham crackers until fine crumbs form. Mix the melted butter and graham cracker crumbs together in a medium bowl with your hands (the mixture should stick together when pressed together). Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan and press it into the bottom of the pan into an even layer, using the bottom of a measuring cup. Pour the condensed milk over the crumbs. Then sprinkle the chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and peanuts over the condensed milk. Break up the remaining 4 graham crackers and sprinkle them on top.
- Bake until golden brown and beginning to curl over the edges of the pan, 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and broil. Scatter the marshmallows over the baked bar and broil the pan until the marshmallows are deep golden and toasted, 3 to 4 minutes. Let cool completely, then refrigerate for 1 hour. Using the loose ends of the foil as handles, lift the bar out of the pan; peel off the foil. Cut the bar into 2-inch squares.
Chef's Notes
To prevent marshmallows from sticking to your knife while cutting, wet it with hot water before cutting and dry it with a clean towel.
