This spice blend is widely used in French cuisine for soups, vegetable stews, confits, pâtés, and various charcuterie products. It contains white pepper, ground cloves, ground ginger, and grated nutmeg. Pepper is typically the dominant spice. Ginger and nutmeg are used in equal proportions, followed by a touch of cloves. Combine the spices, store them in a tightly sealed jar, and add them to your dishes to add a French flavor.
