This goat cheese serving method proves how simple everything is, and that a delicious appetizer doesn't have to be elaborate. Fresh, soft cheese and herbs have always been a great pairing, so this combination won't disappoint. Simply roll the goat cheese in chopped dill until it's completely coated, and place it on a platter with crackers, placing a knife nearby for spreading the cheese. This serving won't take much time, but it will be a feast for the eyes.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 packages of 311 g. fresh goat cheese
  • 6 tablespoons fresh dill, or more if needed
  • Crackers for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place the packages of goat cheese in the freezer to firm up slightly, about 15 minutes.
  2. Finely chop the dill and lay it out on a cutting board to dry for a few minutes.

  3. Remove the goat cheese from its packaging. Carefully roll it in fresh dill, almost completely covering the surface. The cheese should look like it's covered in moss.
  4. Wrap the cheese tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve on crackers.
