How to Make - Easy Cheese Platter
Time: 10 min.
Complexity: easily
Servings: 10-12

One of the simplest, yet most impressive, appetizers is a cheese platter. But it's important to remember that it's not just a selection of the various cheeses you eat every day, but rather a beautiful arrangement of expensive cheeses with varying textures and contrasting flavors. For example, goat cheese, Brie, Roquefort, and aged Cheddar all fit perfectly here. Additional appetizers, designed to highlight or complement the flavors of the cheeses, also play an important role on a cheese platter. Dried fruit, fresh figs, grapes, and crackers, neatly arranged among the cheeses, will be the perfect flavor and aesthetic complement to your exquisite appetizer.

Ingredients:

  • 8 fig leaves
  • 1-2 bunches of white grapes
  • Half a circle of brie cheese
  • A piece of aged sharp cheddar
  • 220 g of goat cheese at room temperature
  • Fresh sprigs of thyme
  • Olive oil
  • 1 triangular piece of blue cheese, such as Roquefort
  • Dried apricots
  • Fresh figs
  • 1 pack of dried fruit crackers
  • 1 package of plain crackers

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Arrange fig leaves on a round platter. Place bunches of grapes in the center, and arrange brie, cheddar, and goat cheese around them. Sprinkle with thyme leaves and place a sprig on top of the goat cheese, drizzling with olive oil. Add blue cheese to the cheese display, and arrange dried apricots, figs, and crackers among the cheeses for a beautiful arrangement.
