The main ingredient in this salad is grilled chicken, delicious and spicy. Shred it, discarding the skin and bones, and toss it with the remaining ingredients in a ranch dressing made from sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk, and fragrant fresh herbs. Avocado, fried bacon, and tomatoes complement the chicken perfectly. Serve it as an appetizer in edible lettuce bowls. It's very juicy and perfect for those watching their carbs. For those who prefer a heartier meal, serve it with buns.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon, stirring occasionally, until crisp, about 8 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and yogurt. Add green onions, dill, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and a pinch of freshly ground black pepper; stir to evenly distribute the ingredients. Add the chicken and half of the fried bacon and tomatoes; stir to coat. Add the avocado and toss gently.

  3. Serve the chicken salad in lettuce leaves, topped with the remaining fried bacon and tomatoes. Serve with buns.
