These wraps, made with quickly fried ground chicken in a Thai sweet and spicy sauce and served on lettuce leaves, are easy to customize to suit each guest's taste. Serve the wraps on a platter, surrounded by cups of chopped peanuts, onions, jalapeños, and fresh herbs like basil or cilantro (whatever you have on hand). Each guest can add their own toppings. Serve the wraps as an appetizer or as a main course with rice.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 450 g of minced chicken
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 cup Thai sweet and hot sauce
- 12 large Boston lettuce leaves (about 2 bunches)
- 1/4 cup chopped roasted peanuts
- Half a small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and thinly sliced
- Rice, for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Heat vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking. Add the ground chicken and cook, breaking up any lumps with a wooden spoon, until no pink remains, about 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and add the Thai sweet and hot sauce. Bring to a simmer and simmer until the chicken is cooked through, about 3 minutes.
- Spread the sauced meat over lettuce leaves and sprinkle with peanuts, red onion, and jalapeño. Serve with rice.
