Goat cheese adds an even more delicate, creamy flavor with a hint of piquant flavor to these mashed potatoes with green onions, parsley, and dill. For a smoother texture, press the potatoes through a potato masher. A perfect side dish for holiday meats.

3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.

1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 900 g potatoes, unpeeled
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 110 g unsalted butter
  • 1 cup goat cheese at room temperature
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place the potatoes in a medium saucepan, cover with cold water, and add 2 tablespoons of salt. Bring to a boil and simmer, uncovered, until tender, about 45 minutes. Drain.
  2. Peel the potatoes and return them to the pan (if desired, puree them using a vegetable grinder or potato masher). Mash the potatoes with the milk and butter using a fork or potato masher. Add the goat cheese, chives, dill, parsley, and 2 teaspoons of salt; season with pepper to taste.
