Pizzetta is a miniature pizza often served as an appetizer at parties. It differs from a regular pizza only in size; all other ingredients are the same. For example, bake delicious pizzettas with zesty Gorgonzola blue cheese and sweet cherry tomatoes, then drizzle with olive oil and garnish with basil when ready. Pizzettas are made with classic pizza dough. If you already have some, making this appetizer takes no more than half an hour. With a minimum of ingredients, these tiny circles pack a ton of vibrant flavors.

3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

- 200 gr. pizza dough
- 100 g gorgonzola, crumbled
- 100 g cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn into pieces

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 245°C.
- Roll out the pizza dough to a thickness of 0.5 cm. Using a 5-6 cm cookie cutter, cut out 18 circles from the dough. Arrange the circles on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle with crumbled Gorgonzola. Top with tomatoes, gently pressing them into the dough. Bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Drizzle the pizzettas with olive oil. Sprinkle with basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Arrange the pizzettas on a platter and serve immediately.
