Pizza Tacos are an easy way to enjoy all the flavors of homemade pizza without the hassle of dough or oven preparation. The pizza filling is cooked in a skillet and served on corn taco tortillas. The filling includes ground Italian sausage, which is fried with savory slices of pepperoni and oregano and simmered in a tomato pizza sauce. Separately fried mushrooms are added to the meat at the very end. Serve the tacos hot, topped with melted shredded mozzarella, ricotta, and fresh basil for a fantastic Italian pizza flavor.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms and cook, undisturbed, until browned on one side, then stir and continue cooking until browned on the other side, about 3 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
- Reduce heat to medium and add the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil to the skillet. Add the sausage and cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, until darkened, 3 to 5 minutes. Add the pepperoni and oregano and cook until the pepperoni is crispy around the edges, about 1 minute. Add tomato sauce for pizza and the reserved fried mushrooms. Bring to a boil and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Heat the tortillas according to package directions. Divide the meat mixture among the tortillas. Sprinkle with grated mozzarella, ricotta, and basil.
