Pizza-flavored hummus - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 3 cups canned chickpeas (drain and rinse), reserve 1/2 cup brine
  • 1/4 tbsp. sesame tahini paste
  • 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Heat the olive oil in a small skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tomato paste, oregano, and basil and cook until lightly toasted, about 2 minutes. Transfer the tomato mixture to a food processor.

    Add the garlic, chickpeas, chickpea brine, sesame paste, lemon juice, and a teaspoon of salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
