This quick and easy cake takes less than an hour to make—perfect for an everyday tea party! The dough is made from flour, sugar, eggs, baking soda, and a little vegetable oil. Then, grated carrots are mixed into the dough. A touch of cinnamon wonderfully complements its sweet aroma and flavor. Cool the finished cake in the pan, then slice and serve. It's fluffy, moderately sweet, and spongy. You can serve it as is, or spread frosting on the cake for a more festive look.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 190°C.
Grease a 22 x 32 cm baking pan or two 20 cm round cake pans with butter. - In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Using a mixer, pour in the vegetable oil, then add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in the carrots, distributing them evenly. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30-40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake layer(s) from the oven and let cool in the pan. Slice and serve.
