Transform a light white wine into an even lighter cocktail, perfect for summer parties. A dry white wine, like Pinot Grigio, is mixed with citrusy sparkling water and served over ice with lemon and lime wedges. The taste is refreshing with a citrusy tartness. Serve with a straw.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 lemon slices (0.5 cm thick)
  • 2 lime wedges (0.5 cm thick)
  • Ice cubes
  • 120 ml Pinot Grigio or other white wine
  • 60 ml lemon-lime seltzer water

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a large stemmed glass, place lemon and lime slices between ice cubes to fill the glass. Pour 120 ml of white wine (0.5 cup) and 60 ml of lemon-lime seltzer (1/4 cup) into the glass with ice and fruit. Stir with a cocktail stick or straw and serve.
