White wine spritzer

How to Make - White Wine Spritzer
Time: 5 min.
Complexity: easily
Quantity: 1 cocktail

A white wine spritzer is a refreshing cocktail that can be enjoyed at any time of day, whether it's Sunday brunch, a romantic dinner, or a fun bachelorette party. All you need is a simple white wine mixed with sparkling water. This way, you can elevate an otherwise unremarkable wine, making it sparkle, more sophisticated, and more interesting! The key to this cocktail is to chill the wine and soda well, creating a foggy glass. Play with flavors and make your own spritzer using different white wines. Serve with a lime wedge in each glass.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 glass of very chilled white wine (Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 1/4 glass of very chilled sparkling water
  • A wedge of lime
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

We recommend

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Fill a wine glass halfway with very chilled wine. The glass should fog up, indicating the wine is truly cold.
  • Step 2
  • Pour soda water into a glass, filling it three-quarters full. (Note: ginger ale or lemon-lime soda can be used instead of soda water!)
