Refreshing white sangria is an elegant addition to your summer dinner. Dry white wine is infused with apple, pear, lemon, and white grape pieces, and just before serving, sparkling white wine is added to the pitcher, so you and your guests can enjoy its fruity flavor and cheerful bubbles.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) of dry white wine
  • 1 cup white grape juice
  • 0.5 cups white rum
  • 0.5 cups seedless white grapes, halved
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) of dry sparkling wine
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

  • In a large pitcher, combine white wine, grape juice, rum, grapes, apple, lemon, and pear. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight to allow the flavors to develop.
