A refreshing drink guaranteed to be a hit at any party. This red wine sangria recipe strikes the perfect balance of tartness and sweetness. Experiment with different fruits (peaches, mangoes), adjusting the amount of syrup. To ensure a seedless drink, avoid pomegranates, strawberries, and raspberries. The juice can be frozen and used in place of regular ice.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 bottles of red table wine
  • 1 tbsp. brandy
  • 1/2 tbsp. triple sec liqueur
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 cup simple syrup, or more to taste (equal parts sugar and water)
  • Orange slices
  • Apple slices
  • Blackberry
  • Pomegranate seeds
