Grilled yellow zucchini - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 700 g yellow zucchini, cut into rings
  • 1 large onion, cut into rings
  • Olive oil for grilling
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 lemon
  • Chopped fresh herbs (parsley, mint)
  • A little soft cheese ricotta

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat grill to high, then reduce heat to medium.
  2. Toss the onion and zucchini with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Place vegetables on the grill and grill on one side for 3 - 5 minutes.
  4. Place the grilled zucchini and onion in a salad bowl and dress with a generous amount of olive oil, the zest and juice of 1 lemon, and chopped herbs. Top with ricotta cheese, shredded with a vegetable peeler.
