If you love spicy food, shichimi togarashi might become your new favorite spice blend. This Japanese seasoning is made with sesame, poppy seeds, and garlic, along with orange zest, ground chili pepper, and dried seaweed.

In a food processor, pulse half a sheet of nori (dried seaweed) until finely flakes form.

Mix the oats with a tablespoon of granulated orange zest (found in the spice section) and a tablespoon of ground black pepper. Add 2 teaspoons each of dried crushed garlic, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, and flaky salt, as well as a teaspoon of cayenne pepper.
