This Cajun spice and herb blend is perfect for frying in hot oil in a cast iron skillet. Originally used for frying fish, it's equally fantastic with shrimp, chicken, or steak. Cayenne pepper imparts a subtle heat that won't overpower other spices, yet adds a rich, piquant flavor to your dish. It's hard to resist the delicious crispy spice coating beneath the succulent meat.
