Corn nuts, cashews, macadamia nuts, pecans, and walnuts are tossed with an Asian spice blend, soy sauce, and ginger and toasted in the oven until crisp and dry. Egg whites help bind the spices to the nuts and ensure an even coating.

- 1 cup unsalted raw cashews

Combine sesame seeds, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, five-spice powder, red pepper flakes, and 1 1/2 teaspoons salt in a small bowl and set aside. - Preheat oven to 175°C and lightly grease a rimmed baking sheet with vegetable oil.
- Nuts:
Place the egg white in a large bowl and whisk until foamy. Add the corn nuts, cashews, macadamia nuts, pecans, and walnuts and stir to coat. Add the spice mixture and stir again to coat. - Spread the nut mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet and bake, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, 15-20 minutes.
